Restaurant Remise in Brandenburg City

The waitress in the restaurant had an uninviting atmosphere and asked how we would like to tip (EC card or bar), which is not possible! Furthermore, it is badly noticeable that the cooks did not wear a face mask in the kitchen and the corners of the restaurant were dirty with cobwebs and dust. The prices for drinks were cheap, maybe a bit expensive for the food. On the positive side, the creativity in the dishes is to be noted.

Nice restaurant where you can dine in the middle of the old castle courtyard. Food is delicious and freshly prepared. Very close to the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul, which you should see right after dinner.

Great ambience, very good cuisine (strong, regional accent), attentive service. In any case, reserve in advance. The price / benefit ratio is very good!

Warm Sunday afternoon. Square in the front of Dom was packed with visitors. Very friendly service staff was fervently trying to get grasp on table occupancy situation: some tables were empty but no chairs, other table with lone chair and reservation sign. Multiple visitors wanted to sit, but there was no option and service stuff was preoccupied. We are lucky ones. Seated and very soon menu was in our hands. Drinks arrived quickly - very proper made aperol spritz. Then soup: Chanterelle cream had substance but somehow is missing taste, mushrooms were lost in cream and flour. Main dish: presentation of curry and filet was top notch and worthy of top chef. However the taste was bland and disappointing. Nothing to talk about it.

Beautifully located in the quiet inner courtyard in the shade of the church, you can relax and enjoy an excellent cappuccino.

I stayed at the Dom Hotel in Brandenburg for a week and ate twice a day in the restaurant next door (breakfast & dinner). The breakfast buffet was varied and there was something for every taste. The freshly squeezed orange juice, which you could prepare yourself, was great. The dinner was excellent! The dishes were well presented and the taste was just great! Praise to the kitchen. The friendly and attentive waiters should also be mentioned. Great service despite the partially full restaurant.

The only thing I didn't like was that my hot chocolate was a pure water drink. There was hardly a trace of chocolate, the extra cream dissolved into thin air ... If you were given a "real" chocolate, with milk (or milk foam) and real chocolate, ... topped with cream and a little chocolate powder, the visit would have been great. Prices for other things were too high for us ... Everything else like: way of serving and service as well as choice of dishes was great!

Excellent, creative and tasty food that can be enjoyed in a beautiful outdoor area. Inside, of course. The staff are friendly, attentive and respond to special requests. Star deduction because you can't order any more food after 8 p.m. :-(

Just to place the order I waited very long, then again for a drink. Didn't even receive the apetizer like anyone else. The food was very fatty and with almost no taste. Very overpriced for what it was. I don't recommend.

Awesome place in summer. Sit outside in the churchyard right beneath the cathedral. Tasty food and friendly staff
